Remember peacemaking skills learned in the summer day camp
Join our friends in fun activities not related to school
Invite new friends to build our Peace Village
The children, on the last day of the 2022 camp, proclaimed, “Can we meet during the year?! Does this have to be our last day until next summer? This is fun. We want to still be able to come together to learn new things and to play with our Peace Village friends.”
How do you deny such a brilliant request?
You don’t!
Most months, our Peace Village instructors rotate responsibility to host a two-hour gathering at a local venue for the primary purpose of building relationships and for the secondary purposes of play, creativity and remembering one or more of the Peace Village teachings.
